Public Institutions Collaborations Visit from DTS Design Center

Uşak University Leather, Textile and Ceramics (DTS) Design Application and Research Center visited public institutions where personnel clothing designs and technical specifications are prepared.

As a result of the cooperation with the General Directorate of Emergency Health Services of the Ministry of Health, 112 Emergency Health Services Department, and the National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE) Department, where the clothes were designed successfully, were visited and the 2022 clothes were evaluated and the work to be done for the next years was planned.

During the visit to the offices of 112 Emergency Health Services Department Specialist Dr. Hakan Güner and Head of Disaster and Emergency Management Department Specialist Dr. Şükrü Yorulmaz, our Center Director Associate Dr. Eren Öner, Assistant Director Instructor Esra Sunerli Topan, and Instructor Fatih Aytekin evaluated expectations and critics of institutions about designs. 

During the visit to the PTT, ideas were exchanged with Şaban Yüksel, Head of Purchasing Department, and Selami ÖZSOY, Deputy Head of Procurement Department, about the products that were tendered in 2022 and started to be produced, and the route to be followed.

A visit was made to the General Directorate of Forestry (OGM), Department of Combating Forest Pests, Protection Branch Manager, Kamuran Birinci. The OGM personnel's clothing designs, comments on usage features, and future collaborations were evaluated.

In the meetings, which were very productive, future work plans were made on behalf of the DTS Design Center by receiving the feedback of public institutions.
