Textile and Fashion Design Discussed at Uşak University

On the first day of the event, at the panel held at the Uşak University Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center, RCA Instructor Ian Padgett talked about "Multiple Units in Textile Fabrics and the Geometric Use of Surface" and Dr. Selçuk Gürışık made two important presentations on 'Fashion Phenomenon, Surface and Texture Evaluations in the Relationship between Fabric and Clothing. The panel was met with great interest by academicians and students.

On the second day of the event, Dr. Selçuk Gürışık held a workshop on the use of felt at the Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Fine Arts. Felt making was shown practically to the academicians and students participating in the workshop, while the participants made their own designs about felt. The works were then put together to be displayed in the corridor of the fashion design department.

At the end of the event, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Şebnem Ruhsar Temir Gökçeli, Ian Padgett, and Dr. Selçuk Gürışık presented a certificate of appreciation.
